Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is no later than 10:00 AM. £15 per hour for late check-out or early check in options, subject to availability. Maximum 12pm.

– We do require a separate short term rental agreement to be signed directly with us and a pre-arrival form filled prior to your stay.

– LOST KEYS: If keys are lost, a £100 replacement fee is required.

At Vacant Nests, we’re dedicated to ensuring our property is protected throughout every guest stay. To provide peace of mind for both owners and guests, we require all guests to either have a £400 fully refundable security deposit hold placed on their account or purchase a £40 one-time Accidental Damage Waiver, which covers up to £500 of accidental damage during the stay.

By Car:

From Newcastle or the A1(M): Take the A694 or A692 roads west toward Consett. Once in Consett, follow signs for Arkless Grove. Depending on where you’re coming from, you’ll likely pass through nearby villages like Leadgate or Shotley Bridge before reaching Consett.

By Public Transport:

From Newcastle: You can take a bus (services like the X30 or X31) from Newcastle towards Consett Bus Station. From the bus station, it’s a short taxi ride to Arkless Grove.
